Privacy notice
Updated 21 October 2026 · Website and readers’ list
Who looks after your information
Andrew Campbell operates Repaged and is the data controller for this website’s readers’ list. Contact andrew@repaged.com with privacy questions or requests. This notice covers the website and launch announcement, not a future app account or paid service.
The readers’ list
If you choose to join, we store your email address, signup time and the version of the consent notice you agreed to. We use these to keep the list and send one announcement when Repaged launches. The lawful basis is your consent. Providing your email is optional; without it we cannot send the announcement. Joining does not create an account, start a trial or commit you to a purchase. We do not sell the list or use it for a general newsletter.
No automatic confirmation email is sent. To withdraw consent or ask for removal, email us from the address you registered. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. We delete the list within three months after the launch announcement, or if the launch is abandoned. Removal requests are handled manually; a minimal record of an opt-out may be kept only where needed to prevent further mail.
Contact messages
If you email us, we process your address and the information you include to answer your question or act on your request. This is based on our legitimate interests in providing support, or our legal obligations when handling privacy requests. We retain correspondence only as long as needed to resolve the request and meet applicable legal obligations; this is separate from the readers’ list.
Providers and international processing
Cloudflare delivers the website and processes form submissions. Supabase stores email addresses, signup times and consent versions in our database in Ireland. Zoho Mail processes messages you send to our contact address. These providers process information needed to operate their services; access by their staff or subprocessors may involve other countries, including the United States. Applicable provider data-processing terms and transfer safeguards govern that processing. You can contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your data.
Provider information: Cloudflare privacy and data processing terms; Supabase privacy and data processing terms; Zoho privacy.
A launch-email delivery provider has not yet been connected. We will update this notice with that provider before sending the announcement and include a working unsubscribe route.
Website requests, cookies and demo notes
When you open the signup form, Cloudflare Turnstile checks for automated abuse. It processes technical browser, device and network signals for security. The verification token is checked by our server before an email address is saved. This security processing is based on our legitimate interests in protecting the form. We do not enable Turnstile pre-clearance cookies. See Cloudflare’s Turnstile privacy information.
Hosting providers receive technical request information such as IP addresses, browser information and requested URLs to deliver and protect the site. Necessary delivery and security processing is based on our legitimate interests in running a reliable website. The signup database does not store your IP address or browser information. Provider operational logs have their own retention periods, separate from the readers’ list.
We have not added advertising or analytics trackers, and the site does not set cookies for marketing. The interactive reader runs locally in your browser: its sample notes are held in memory, reset when you reload, and are not submitted with the signup form. Notes you export are downloaded to your device.
Your rights and complaints
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or receive a portable copy of your personal information. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent for the launch email at any time. Contact andrew@repaged.com to exercise these rights. We may need to confirm your identity before releasing information. We do not use your signup data for automated decisions or profiling.
You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or by calling 0303 123 1113. You can also contact your local data protection authority where applicable.
